We help you get into recovery and stay in recovery

We were built by people in recovery. People like you.
So they designed Workit to help people going through what they went through get back on solid ground so they can rebuild the life they want. In fact, many of our team members are in recovery themselves.
No shame. No lectures. Just proven care, real people in your corner, and a program built to help you keep going.

Getting started

What our members are saying
FAQs
Getting started is simple. After downloading the app, you’ll sign up and answer a few questions online. Then you’ll schedule an online video visit with a licensed provider who understands addiction. From there, your care team will help create a plan and guide you through next steps.
Most members start treatment within two days of signing up.
Usually, the best time right now—you don’t need to hit rock bottom. Consider starting if you’re thinking about change, worried about your use, trying to avoid withdrawal, or you’ve had a close call. Getting support earlier can make the process safer and more manageable.
No. Appointments are done conveniently online by video.
You can meet with your provider from home or from wherever you need using your phone—no in-person clinic visits required.
Yes, we accept many major insurance plans, including Anthem, Aetna, Horizon, Oscar, UnitedHealthcare, Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and more.
We also accept Medicaid and Medicare in several states, and self-pay in all states.
During sign-up, we’ll run a coverage check for free in the Workit Health app. Coverage checks are 100% free, with no commitment.
Medication treatment (often called MAT) is evidence-based care for opioid use disorder and is widely recognized as a legitimate, effective path to recovery. It helps reduce withdrawal and cravings so you can stabilize, stay safer, and focus on rebuilding your life—whether your goal is abstinence, reduced use, or long-term stability.
Workit is designed to be private and discreet, and your care is protected like other healthcare. That said, insurance can create paperwork (like an Explanation of Benefits/EOB) that may be visible to the policyholder. If privacy is a concern, you can ask about self-pay options and communication settings so notifications and app messaging stay discreet. If you’re on a family plan or employer plan, it’s worth discussing privacy up front so you can choose the best route.
Workit is designed to fit into real life, not take it over. To keep your program on track, you’ll need to attend your scheduled visits, follow your care plan, and stay in touch with your care team. This may include check-ins, occasional screenings, and using the app to communicate when you need help.
Each month, you’re expected to:
- Attend an online visit
- Take a free at-home drug screening
- Fill out a quick health check survey
The goal isn’t perfection—it’s progress. Expectations are realistic, supportive, and focused on helping you stay steady and moving forward.
Yes, drug screening is expected for everyone in OUD—screens will be sent to you, free of charge. However, you can still be treated even if you don’t take a drug screen.
Your care team will explain what to expect and why it’s being used. Screening is meant to support your care—not to punish or shame—and expectations are kept as simple and realistic as possible.
If medication is part of your care, your provider will send your prescription to a local pharmacy near you. In many cases, you’ll be able to pick it up within a few days.
Depending on where you live, you may also have prescription home delivery options available.
Recovery that works for you
Workit helps you start a proven, private, convenient path to recovery so you can get steady and get back to yourself again.
